Beach shots are popular and we love being able to work on the beach. Here’s some photographs of a very sweet family that we had the pleasure of shooting on Coronado’s beautiful beaches. They ordered an Ultimate Package, with a 16×20 Canvas in lieu of the prints and they choose the Italian Leather Photobook.

Recently we embarked on a journey down to Mexico to perform a little volunteer work with Rancho Vista Church. This video sums up the day of serving lunch and giving away donated clothing, shoes, and blankets. It’s humbling to see how other parts of the world live and we are grateful that we can do our part, even if it is relatively small in the big picture. If you’re interested in volunteering, there will be another trip in about three months. You can contact Rancho Vista Church and let them know you’d like to participate.
As professional photographers we often get posed the question, “Where is a good place to have a photo shoot?” Here in San Diego California, there are so many wonderful places that it really depends on what you like. One of our favorites is Balboa Park which is next to the San Diego Zoo, and really close to the Gaslamp District in Downtown San Diego.
Balboa Park is not just for visitors and tourists, but us locals too! There are so many extraordinary museums to see, the grounds are immaculately groomed, and the Architecture is amazing. We go at least once a month with the family not including our photography gigs. But what a spectacular setting. (Could be why we run into so many other professional photographers while there).
Want more details: Check out the Balboa Park website: http://www.balboapark.org to see all that it offers, then let us know if that’s where you want to have your next photo session.

Looking for something fun to do with your photo’s? Checkout this neat site that allows you to make some interesting modifications to your photo’s. http://www.pikipimp.com/
Ok, to show you an example, we uploaded a picture of our friends Mark and Sean. You may remember them from our ’What’s my line?’ contest. They are working on launching thier new R & J BBQ Sauce.
After uploading the photo, the site allows you to drop and drag some extra props to, how should we say, enhance your photograph. Here’s what we came up with after a couple of small modifications.
Maybe we went a bit overboard….just a little…
Since we include the full quality digital photo’s with our popular packages, you can try it out and enhance our photo’s…it’s Free!!
Sam came up with the line: “You mean you ate that….I thought I told you that the dog treated it like a fire hydrant.” for the What’s my line contest.
Sam has won a case of the new XS Peach Tea Energy Drink - A tasty, low-carb, and sugar-free blast of energy. Peach Tea Blast delivers the sweet taste of summer peaches, plus potent B vitamins to help boost mental and physical energy. It is loaded with antioxidants and contains EGCG, which gives white tea its calorie-burning power. All this and only 10 calories! Don’t like Peach? There’s like 10 other flavors to choose from.
Recently, we were asked to take photo’s for a 90th Birthday Party. While she is blessed with 90 wonderful years of life, we too were blessed to be a part of the celebration festivities!
You should only hope you look and feel this good at 90! Congratulations!!!
Here’s a funny picture of our friend Mark and Sean who were taking headshots for their new ”R & J BBQ Sauce”. I doubt they’ll use this this particular image for thier label, but it’s a great photo to run another contest!!
Here’s the deal: Submit your caption using the the comments feature of our blog. We’ll pick the one we think is the funniest (that’s clean funny) and then award a prize. We’ll let this play out till the end of the month and in the beginning of February we’ll anounce the winner as well as the prize.
Here’s an example to help get your creative juices flowing:
“Mark, great pose, but you forgot to put on your pants”.
