It’s been over a year since Candid Clicks Photography has been at Pig Tails & Crew Cuts– “creative kids hair salon” in the Otay Ranch Town Center. We are once again going to be taking photo’s of all the beautiful little children who get their hair done. Just like last time, we’ll post the photo’s in our online VIP Gallery and parents can choose a free 5×7.
FRIDAY, MAY 1st between 3PM-5PM
Our Friends Tony and Leslie are the owners and they are working hard to making this the premier place for kids to get cut and styled. It’s fun, exciting and, posh too! They even do Birthday Parties.
So, show your community support and we look forward to seeing you there

We recognize in this economic climate not everyone is going to be able to afford the luxury of purchasing a beautiful photography package for their family. This is why we are going to partner with YOU and let you choose who you want to give a SPRING FLING BAILOUT** to.
We are offering 5 Bailout Packages** to give away to the first 5 clients who purchase either an Ultimate or Near-Ultimate Package between now and Easter Weekend (April 12, 2009). Those 5 Clients will then each be able to select another family to gift a Near-Ultimate package to.
Unfortunately we can only afford to give away 5 packages, but we know the 5 families that you choose will be well deserving.

**This promotion cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions.

Since we don’t typically photographs weddings, it’s not very often we get the pleasure of capturing a bride and groom all dolled up in their wedding attire. But this gorgeous couple decided to take their wedding photos a year two years later and since it was just the two of them we decided it would fit into our family portrait niche. What a fun time we all had at Presidio Park in Old Town San Diego and at Windansea in La Jolla taking pictures. Congratulations Josh and Jess for surviving the first year two years of marraige! May you have many many more!! Here’s a few sneak peaks:

We recently were asked to take some photos for a 95th Birthday Party. It ended up more of a family portrait session. But what a beautiful family. What a blessing to be a small part of this family’s celebration.

Wow, it’s been a year since we’ve launched our blog. At first we didn’t know if we’d have anything to share. What we’ve found now, is it’s not whether we’ll have anything to share, it’s whether we’ll have any time to share it. Some months are better than others in getting things posted, but overall it’s fun and a great tool to share what’s up with Candid Clicks Photography.

Whether you’re looking for way to display the family portrait, showing the world the love between you and your sweetheart, or looking for a special gift idea, our fine art gallery wrapped canvases fill the need in transforming your professionally taken photographs into amazing works of art.
The below photo’s are of a 16×20 Museum Gallery Wrapped Canvas, that was recently ordered by a fun family who took advantage of the Candid Clicks Print Credit that comes with the Near-Ultimate Photography Pacakage.

Gallery Wrap is the process of wrapping the printed canvas around wood stretcher supports. The image is wrapped around the frame for a clean modern look.
We have many different sizes that fit into anyone’s budget (see our pricing page for current pricing).
We offer the “Standard” size canvas by default. This is a 3/4 inch thick canvas which is perfect if you want to keep cost lower and/or if you plan on framing the canvas. It’s also perfect to hang as is.
By request, we can do a “Museum” size gallery wrap. This thicker in depth canvas uses a 1 1/2 inch thick stretcher bar which gives it a dramatic impression. It costs a little more (please contact us for pricing), but is awesome if you plan on hanging your Gallery Wrapped Canvas just as it is. Below is the Museum Gallery Wrapped Canvas.

Our canvases are printed using archival inks and a UV protective satin coating. They are rated not to fade under normal lighting conditions for over 100 years.

If you’re looking for a split canvas, where one image is split onto three or more panels, we would be happy to quote you with a price and would eagerly welcome the personal request.
Also…Coming soon…canvas framing options!!

We are donating a Near-Ultimate Package for a silent auction to be held this Saturday (26 July) from 10am-6pm:
Here is the address: 3206 Redwood Street, SD, 92104 and here’s the Miller Family Grand Stand
As you may or may not know, Alexandra “Alex” Scott was only four-years-old when she decided to hold a lemonade stand to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer, including her own. Alex set up her first Alex’s Lemonade Stand to raise money for cancer research, and though she lost her life to the disease in 2004. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation continues her legacy of hope through volunteers .
Last year over 3000 people walked by the stand at the above address.
Every year in the United States, over 12,500 children are diagnosed with cancer, and despite intense and aggressive treatments, more than 2,000 of those children will not survive. In fact, cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children in the U.S. today. By holding an Alex’s Lemonade Stand they are carrying on Alex’s dream, and making a promise to all children with cancer to continue moving toward a cure. I hope that you help in the fight for a cure.
Since Alex’s very first lemonade stand in 2000, over $18 million has been raised by children, families, school groups, businesses, and organizations across the country allowing Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to fund over 50 research projects.
