The “Hotel Del” is one of the most recognized landmarks in San Diego which is ironic because it’s located in Coronado.  You may have seen it in the Movie “Some like it Hot” with Tony Curtis.  It’s one of the most popular backdrops to have a professional portrait taken and our Candid Clicks Clients are no different.   This was a fun session for a photographer because both young ladies are absolutely beautiful and were so photogenic!  They each go to school out of state and wanted to meet back up in San Diego and have some beach pictures taken.  Here’s a sneak peak…

Beach shots are popular and we love being able to work on the beach.   Here’s some photographs of a very sweet family that we had the pleasure of shooting on Coronado’s beautiful beaches.  They ordered an Ultimate Package, with a 16×20 Canvas in lieu of the prints and they choose the Italian Leather Photobook.

1.  LUCKY

We had two scheduled photography shoots for Saturday.  One in Balboa Park and the other on Coronado Island and of course we all know what the San Diego weather was suposed to be…RAINY.  Both families, along with us, have real tight schedules over the next few weeks and Saturday was going to have to be the day.  Fortunately, we were blessed with great weather in both locations at the time we needed it.  Wow!

Got a light?

Recently we were doing a photo shoot of two incredibly cute kids at a beach in Carlsbad California.   They both were very photogenic and fun to watch and we got some great photographs of them.   Keeping in mind you get a much different perspective behind the glass,  it was not obvious that the little guy picked something up off the sand and put it to his mouth.   After a brief moment and a few candid clicks later, we promptly had him get rid of the cigarette.   Kids in San Diego grow up so fast…good thing smoking is now banned at the beach.
