Family Reunion.

We’re bringing back the Christmas Card Special.  It includes your sitting fee, one digital image, 1 set of 25 cards all for $125 (a $200 value).

Like last year, the cards are elegant with simplicity.  They are a two-sided card which you can customize.  Work with our design team and change the words and the layout for a custom and personalized card.

The cards are two sided 5×7,  printed on either Pearl or Linen paper (both are gorgeous!)  They come in sets of 25 with envelopes.

Candid Clicks is proud to announce our first “Candid Clicks Cute Kid Contest”. (Say that 10 times in a row).    We’re opening the contest to any and all kids ages Newborn to 12 years  but we will only be able to honor the prizes here in San Diego.  With that said, if you reside outside of the San Diego area and still want to enter, either because you think you may come to San Diego to redeem it or you have an unbelievably cute kid that you want to show off then feel free to enter.

 We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners based on the most votes they receive.

-  FIRST PLACE WINNER will receive a complimentary “Near-Ultimate Package” photo shoot ($405 value)

- SECOND PLACE WINNER will receive a complimentary Family Photo Shoot and $100 in Candid Clicks Credit good for print and products ($200 value)

We will be using FACEBOOK as our Contest Machine…meaning that all voting will be accomplished through our Facebook Profile.  Here is how it’s gonna work:

1.  Enter your child’s photo by emailing it to info@candid-clicks.com  Please include their Name, age, and if it’s OK to post their name and age with their photo entry submission.

2.  Within a day or so, your photo will be placed in our Cute Kids Contest album on the Candid Clicks Facebook Profile Page:  http://www.facebook.com/candid.clicks.photography.san.diego

3.  Next, in order to vote, you will need to “Like” our Profile page (formally known as becoming a Fan).

4.  Once you “Like” us, you can vote for your child by placing  the word “VOTE” under the comment section of that photo (Sorry, you can only vote for each child once, but you can submit multiple photos of children and vote for each of them. (Just once though).

5.  Finally you may invite  your family and friends to vote for your cute kid by doing the same in steps 3 and 4. (And step 5 too, they can invite their friends to vote also.)

Just so we’re clear, here are the rules  (arrrgahhh rules …yuck!)

-The contest begins today and will run through midnight on June 20, 2010 (that’s when the photo submission and voting stops).

-We’ll post photos as soon as we can from when we receive them. Obviously the sooner they are submitted the sooner they get posted allowing for more time to accumulate votes.

-Only a parent or legal guardian my enter a child into the contest .

-One photo per child, but you can submit multiple children (We know Mom can’t have favorites!)

-If the photo you’re using was done by a Professional, make sure you have the rights or permission to use that photo.

-Winners will be announced on our Facebook Profile page on 21 June.

-Vote for as many children as you want, but vote only once per child.

- A vote will only count if the word “vote” is posted as a comment on the photo. (All other comments will be removed…even if they are funny).

-The winners will based on photo that has the most votes.  Therefore it makes sense to get as many people you know to vote for your child.

-Only one photo per child can be entered into the contest.

We’ve had a bunch of people ask us why we don’t network with the schools and try and “get in” on the class photos.  Answer:  It’s a mass market business model and we prefer to provide more of a personalized and intimate product. We’d rather take our time and really focus on our client and get them what they want.  It fits better with our business model.  With that said, we can totally help out Seniors with one of the biggest problems they’ll encounter in their senior year…affording quality Senior Portraits. We hope this video will help clear the air.  Congratulations Seniors!!!

Photographing families at Coronado is both a favorite of ours and our clients.  The city skyline creates such a great backdrop and screams San Diego.  Enjoy this photo montage of this fun family… who, by the way… has done photo shoot with us every year for the last several.

Just a sneak peek into what we’re working on.  Our plan now is to include a preview video that’s included in our packages that can be added to your favorite social networking site.  We are still planning out the details and how we are going to fit it in, but this exciting enhancement to our our already phenomenal service should get everyone saying WOW!
