Wow, it’s been a year since we’ve launched our blog. At first we didn’t know if we’d have anything to share. What we’ve found now, is it’s not whether we’ll have anything to share, it’s whether we’ll have any time to share it. Some months are better than others in getting things posted, but overall it’s fun and a great tool to share what’s up with Candid Clicks Photography.

Whether you’re looking for way to display the family portrait, showing the world the love between you and your sweetheart, or looking for a special gift idea, our fine art gallery wrapped canvases fill the need in transforming your professionally taken photographs into amazing works of art.
The below photo’s are of a 16×20 Museum Gallery Wrapped Canvas, that was recently ordered by a fun family who took advantage of the Candid Clicks Print Credit that comes with the Near-Ultimate Photography Pacakage.

Gallery Wrap is the process of wrapping the printed canvas around wood stretcher supports. The image is wrapped around the frame for a clean modern look.
We have many different sizes that fit into anyone’s budget (see our pricing page for current pricing).
We offer the “Standard” size canvas by default. This is a 3/4 inch thick canvas which is perfect if you want to keep cost lower and/or if you plan on framing the canvas. It’s also perfect to hang as is.
By request, we can do a “Museum” size gallery wrap. This thicker in depth canvas uses a 1 1/2 inch thick stretcher bar which gives it a dramatic impression. It costs a little more (please contact us for pricing), but is awesome if you plan on hanging your Gallery Wrapped Canvas just as it is. Below is the Museum Gallery Wrapped Canvas.

Our canvases are printed using archival inks and a UV protective satin coating. They are rated not to fade under normal lighting conditions for over 100 years.

If you’re looking for a split canvas, where one image is split onto three or more panels, we would be happy to quote you with a price and would eagerly welcome the personal request.
Also…Coming soon…canvas framing options!!

We are donating a Near-Ultimate Package for a silent auction to be held this Saturday (26 July) from 10am-6pm:
Here is the address: 3206 Redwood Street, SD, 92104 and here’s the Miller Family Grand Stand
As you may or may not know, Alexandra “Alex” Scott was only four-years-old when she decided to hold a lemonade stand to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer, including her own. Alex set up her first Alex’s Lemonade Stand to raise money for cancer research, and though she lost her life to the disease in 2004. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation continues her legacy of hope through volunteers .
Last year over 3000 people walked by the stand at the above address.
Every year in the United States, over 12,500 children are diagnosed with cancer, and despite intense and aggressive treatments, more than 2,000 of those children will not survive. In fact, cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children in the U.S. today. By holding an Alex’s Lemonade Stand they are carrying on Alex’s dream, and making a promise to all children with cancer to continue moving toward a cure. I hope that you help in the fight for a cure.
Since Alex’s very first lemonade stand in 2000, over $18 million has been raised by children, families, school groups, businesses, and organizations across the country allowing Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to fund over 50 research projects.
Please visit www.AlexsLemonade.org to find out more about Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

Who says you have to have a big, expensive, blown out of proportion wedding to have it beautiful? We think simplicity sometimes says it all. Here’s a sneak peak of a beautiful bride with her new hubby keeping it simple.

Sushi, our first girl, recently passed away. She was 10 years old and one of the sweetest Golden’s imaginable. She passed away at our home with the entire family by her side. The crazy thing was we didn’t even know she was sick. The autopsy revealed that she had a fast growing cancer through out her entire insides. We believe she wasn’t in pain and it’s obvious that she was most content being with us to the very end. She is survived by her brother, Wasabi, who is missing her. She will missed by us too!

your pricing is a disservice to your clients (costco? shutterfly?–don’t you care about quality?), and yourself–aren’t your creations worth copyrighting. Have you figured out how much you are earning an hour. Are you worth more. If business is booming–never mind–otherwise take a hard look at what you are doing. $10 for a 5×7???? Try $50 and you’ll have to sell only 1 instead of 5. Good luck |

We absolutely care about quality! This is why when you order your prints from us, we use only professional grade Kodak paper. But we know too, that our clients sometimes preference value over anything else. This is why in our Ultimate and Near-Ultimate Photography Packages we give you the digital negatives to reproduce your own photo’s at Costco, Kodak, Shutterfly or any other print service. So not only do you get quality photography, but you can have value too! Should we also rub it in that business is booming? Nah…we’ll just be humble and thank God for our blessings!

It’s a once year opportunity. Drive up (or down, depending on where you live) and see the gobs of flowers at the Flower Fields. Aftwards, head over to the outlet mall, have dinner and then shop til you drop!! Maybe you’ll even decide to hire a photographer to take photo’s with the flowers as a background. If you’re comming from out of town, Lego Land is right around the corner, make a full vacation out of it.
